Modular, motor-driven quill type machining units (BEM)

SUHNER concept:

Depending on the application, multiple machining units can perform drilling, reaming, cutting and milling operations from different directions at the same time.

By comparison: a machining center can only perform one operation within the same cycle time.

SUHNER offers two systems: drilling units with direct electric drive (BEM) and drilling units with multiple electric drive through flexible shafts (BEW and/or BEWI with VG). The two can be used in combination and ensure that an efficient solution can always be found.
